About

We are a fellowship of believers who seek to explore the Christian faith and what it means to love God with all our minds. (Luke 10:27) We cover topics in theology, church history, philosophy, biblical studies, science, and other fields of inquiry to better understand our faith, ourselves, and the world we live in. We strive to create a safe and open environment where people can share their experiences, doubts, and questions about the Christian faith, and come out with a richer and deeper understanding than before.

We have meetings on a bi-weekly basis here in New York City.  We started in July, 2012.

  1. Greetings from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. I both agree and heartily support your cause which I will copy from directly above on this date and paste below. Should you ever get around to video recording one of your bi-weekly lectures, then I should like to see it very soon online.

Augustine is a wonderful man and his message continues to speak to us throughout time.

    Peace of Christ

    • Hello and thanks for visiting our humble group! I admire your work to and hope to learn more from it as well.

I’m appreciating Augustine more and more as I read him. I believe next to Paul, he arguably had the most lasting impact to the church at large. He is both loved and vilified by theologians through the years.

      Blessings,

      DL

Be aware that Paul must be understood in the context of Roman culture and with a grain of salt.
